Sea + Soil Collective Refund and Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing to join the Sea + Soil Collective. To maintain the high-quality, intimate nature of our retreats and to ensure our local partners and staff are compensated fairly, we adhere to the following policy for all bookings. I. BOOKING & DEPOSITSOne-Time Booking Fee: All retreat reservations are subject to a one-time 8% stewardship and processing fee as specified at checkout.
Non-Refundable Deposit: To secure your spot in a Sea + Soil retreat, a flat-fee deposit of $500 is required. This deposit is non-refundable and is immediately used from your initial payment to secure accommodations, equipment rentals, and local staffing for your event.
II. CANCELLATION SCHEDULEWe understand that plans can change, so please see our options below.
60+ Days Before Retreat Start Date:
You are eligible for a full refund, minus the $500 non-refundable deposit* OR
You are eligible to transfer 100% of the amount paid as credit towards another retreat date.
*If you have already paid in full, processing fees may apply.
60-31 Days Before Retreat Start Date:
You are eligible for a 50% refund of the total retreat price OR
You are eligible to transfer 75% of the amount paid as credit towards another retreat date.
Less than 30 Days Before Retreat Start Date:
No refunds will be issued.
You are eligible to transfer 50% of the amount paid as a credit towards another retreat date.
Less than 15 Days Before Retreat State Date:
No refunds or credits will be issued.
We strongly recommend that all participants purchase individual travel insurance to protect their investment against unforeseen circumstances.
Rescheduling Policy: If you need to reschedule your reservation to a future retreat, your payment may be applied as a credit toward a new date within one (1) year of your original retreat start date. After one year, any unused credit will expire. All rescheduling requests are subject to availability, and any difference in pricing between retreats will be the responsibility of the participant.
Travel Responsibility Disclaimer: Sea + Soil Collective is not liable for any delays, disruptions, or cancellations related to travel to or from the retreat location, whether domestic or international. Participants are solely responsible for arranging and managing their travel logistics, including flights, ground transportation not specified in retreat inclusions, and all required documentation such as passports, visas, and travel insurance.
III. FINANCING (KLARNA)If you chose to finance your retreat through Klarna, our standard refund policy still applies.
In the event of a qualified refund, Sea + Soil Collective automatically credits the refund amount back to the financing provider.
Please note that you may still be responsible for any interest accrued on your loan as per your specific agreement with the financing provider.
IV. RETREAT CANCELLATION BY SEA + SOILIn the rare event that Sea + Soil Collective must cancel a retreat due to safety concerns, extreme weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered:
A 100% refund of all monies paid (including the deposit); or
The option to transfer the full credit toward a future retreat date.

Guest Requirements + Reservation Terms
To help us create a thoughtful and well-supported experience for everyone, we ask all guests to complete any required forms, submit necessary documentation, and remain in communication with our team in advance of the retreat.
All required materials and information must be submitted no later than two (2) weeks prior to the retreat start date, unless otherwise specified.
Full payment must also be completed according to the timeline outlined for your chosen payment method.
If required documentation is not submitted, payments are unable to be processed, or we are unable to establish communication within the necessary timeframe, Sea + Soil Collective reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
This allows us to maintain the integrity of the experience and properly prepare for all guests.
