Sea + Soil Collective Community Agreements

1) As surfers and coastal visitors, we are humble custodians of the sea, and choose a life of reciprocity with our environment by caring for our oceans, soils, and local community members (including non-human relatives).

2) We acknowledge that surfing is an Indigenous practice, and that violence against these communities is historical and ongoing around the globe. We are committed to grassroots reparations and the healing of this harm.

3) Treat others as they wish to be treated. Diversity is celebrated, not feared. Stay curious. Respect others' boundaries, backgrounds, choices, pronouns, and special needs.

4) We have zero tolerance for homophobia, transphobia, racism, religious intolerance, sexism, ableism, ageism, body shaming, harassment, gatekeeping, bullying and all other forms of microagressions, non-acceptance and hate speech.

Failure to uphold these community agreements may result in your position within the collective being reviewed and/or revoked.
